Who We Are…

Green Robin Dance was founded in 2012 and is led by its artisitic directors Jennifer Manderson and Georgina Saunders, both recent dance graduates and emerging contemporary artists. Both born in Nottingham, we returned to the East Midlands after completing our studies. We strive to develop and promote contemporary dance within our local community. We really enjoy working together, and particularly teaching simultaneously. We are the best of friends, and equally as passionate about contemporary dance!

Georgina Saunders

Georgina was born in Nottingham and has always had a passion for dance. She has attended dance classes in ballet, tap and modern jazz since the age of 4 and has always known she wanted to pursue dance as a career. Gaining a place at Manchester metropolitan university Georgina was able to broaden her knowledge of performance and choreography.

After graduating university in 2010 Georgina started working as a freelance dance artist in the Nottingham area. Working with various companies and charities she gained valuable experience in working with young people. Georgina works alongside the county youth arts team as well as teaching at various performance schools. Georgina has 4 years teaching experience with a wide range of abilities and ages and is continuously striving to promote dance for all. She is interested in movement for everyone and has a keen interest in healthy living and mass participation in dance.
